Sewing Your Future Application

“To empower survivors through vocational training in sewing and clothing production, enabling them to gain sustainable employment opportunities and improve their quality of life.”

Empowering survivors through practical skills, our “Sewing Your Future” program focuses on Fashion Design and Sewing, enabling participants to secure their first job within our network.

The “Sewing Your Future” Program provides survivors with an integrative system that train participants as an assistant pattern maker and designer, through fashion and business. The participant’s final portfolio will showcase the variety of techniques and skills learned in the three quarters level.

The graduates will enter in the fashion field prepared for professional opportunities in one year.

It is of great importance to emphasize that our training programs in the fashion industry are fully integrative and serve a dual purpose that is extremely significant within our community of individuals who have experienced some form of domestic violence, child abuse, or human trafficking.

Through our “Give Life” Feeling Therapies, we have achieved fantastic results, where participants who enroll in the “Sewing Your Future” program simultaneously experience a reduction in stress levels, distress, and fear. They receive relevant emotional guidance and share their testimonies with other participants, regaining self-confidence, improving their self-relationship and their interactions with others, and experiencing forgiveness. All of this occurs simultaneously while they receive training in sewing, pattern making, and design.
