Designers & Creative Teams Against Domestic Violence was born when founder and victim of domestic violence herself, Karina Gomez-Herrera discovered that sharing her expertise was a powerful way to help other survivors overcome their painful experiences while enabling them to generate income.

We believe in the evolution of humanity and understand that changing the label from victim to survivor is not sufficient for complete healing and transformation. Creating awareness for the survivors will aid them in the transition to becoming creative individuals and forge a new future by learning from our past experiences and through forgiveness.
